Lidl Eye Contour: My Experience
Just as it happens to me when I go to other supermarkets, the moment I enter Lidl I can’t help but pass by their cosmetics section. That’s why, I’m going to talk to you about Lidl’s eye contour: my experience.
Before continuing with the analysis, I must confess that I have another product that I like more because it always gives excellent results: Nezeni Cosmetics eye contour, but I will talk to you about this at the end of the article.
Now, I want to focus on talking to you about Lidl’s eye contour because I had heard good comments about this product and I wanted to find out firsthand if it was really worth it.
If you have ever gone shopping at Lidl you will know that their cosmetics brand is “Cien” and that it is quite consumed by a large part of the customers who enter this supermarket. Therefore, I am going to share my experience with this product.
In this way, you can know if it is a product that is really worth it or if it is better for you to leave it on the shelf where you found it and focus instead on other options more in line with you and your skin needs.
Since I dared to try it, now you can know what has been my experience with this cosmetic and if you had doubts about its efficacy or quality, I am going to resolve them below. Think that the contour of your eyes is a very delicate area because the skin is the thinnest on your entire face.
For this reason, this area of your face needs special attention so that the care is what it requires at each moment. Thus, with a good cosmetic and healthy habits, you will achieve an improvement in your face considerably and that this area does not age too quickly.
This area of your face is more exposed to harmful external agents, which is why it is common for expression lines, wrinkles, skin spots, dark circles, or bags to appear early, especially if you do not take care of yourself.
In this sense, it is necessary that you focus on finding a quality eye contour, and now you are going to discover if that of Cien brand from Lidl is worth it or not. When it comes to eye contour, you should not settle for just any product.

You must seek excellence.
After having tried this cosmetic for several weeks, now I can really tell you about my experience so that you discover if it is a good product for you or not.
Lidl’s Eye Contour
This cosmetic is known by the name of Q10 from Cien at Lidl. So, when you go to this supermarket you will be able to recognize it easily. It has this name because according to the brand the formula is enriched with Coenzyme Q10.
Although it also has other strong points in its formula such as vitamin E and hyaluronic acid, both essential ingredients for the care of this area of your face. It hydrates very well and the brand promises to eliminate wrinkles and expression lines.
The brand assures that it is a cosmetic that anyone who wants to deal with this problem can use, even if you have sensitive or reactive skin. In reality, this product is better used on drier skins.
For sensitive, combination or oily skins (and even for normal skins) it is not a good option because it could clog pores in this delicate area.
The price is 1.99 euros for a 15 ml bottle. You won’t find a cheaper product in terms of eye contour.
Of course, at that price, it might be attractive to buy it and try it, you have almost nothing to lose! But at such a low price, I also recommend that you always be wary and that you pay close attention to what its ingredients are.
The brand assures that the product is dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested, so, in principle, it should be totally safe. The brand comments that you can use the cosmetic on your eye contour even if you wear contact lenses.

It does not contain perfumes that could irritate you, but what about the rest of the ingredients? Let’s see.
Ingredients
Among its most important actives we find the three mentioned above:
- Coenzyme Q10. It is an effective antioxidant.
- Hyaluronic Acid. It is a powerful moisturizer.
- Vitamin E. It hydrates and regenerates the dermis.
If you stop with this information it seems like a star product that promises great results, but in reality, it contains a large amount of parabens and this cannot be tolerated in a product of this type.
But what’s more, the concentration of the main actives is ridiculous, so do not expect the product to have any effect of any kind, because with such low concentration it will not be able to achieve any results.
Package
The package is a plastic bottle that contains 15 ml of substance. The amount of substance is normal for this type of cosmetics, so it is normal.
Being an opaque package, the substance is well protected all the time.
It is necessary that with the use of the product you clean the part where the substance comes out. Due to the shape it has, it is likely that substance remains adhered to that part of the tube.
This could cause the substance to deteriorate and even dangerous bacteria to appear for the health of your eye contour and even your eyeballs. Therefore, you must always keep it very clean.
Who it is indicated for
In reality, after knowing its composition it is still a product that should not be indicated for anyone. In fact, I think they should remove it from the supermarket shelves so as not to risk anyone’s skin health.
But if you want to use it (something I do not recommend), then you should know that it is better for dry or very dry skins. Do not use it if this is not your skin condition because it will take a lot for it to absorb.
Its texture is very greasy and not pleasant. I don’t like its scent either, because although it does not carry perfume (but it does have other not recommended components), it has an aroma that I find a bit strange.
Method of use
The way to use it is the same as with any other eye contour. The tube with its anti-drip system allows you to extract just the right amount of substance so that you do not waste anything. Although if you squeeze the tube too much, the substance could shoot out.

First, clean your face with the appropriate products and leave it totally free of impurities.
Then, apply a very small amount, especially considering its texture. After, gently spread it around the eye contour at the same time as doing a circular massage in the area.
End with small taps so that the substance is absorbed and penetrates better.
To know if it works for you or not, it is essential that you are consistent in its application. According to the brand you can apply it twice a day, being the morning upon waking up and the night before going to sleep the best options.
When applying the substance do not press or rub. If you do, you could cause the appearance of more unwanted wrinkles or expression lines.

My experience
After reading everything exposed up to here, you may have begun to sense that it is not a product that I would buy again since the formula leaves much to be desired. It is a low-quality product, with too many chemicals and not suitable for all skin types.
Furthermore, if you use it and have sensitive skin, it can cause severe irritations and discomfort. No matter how cheap it is, you cannot use a product of such low quality.
In fact, for the eye contour you don’t have to settle for anything. You should find a quality product that can really offer you good results while respecting your skin health from day one.
In my case, I have combination skin and it took a lot for it to be well absorbed. I noticed hydration but nothing more. But it was a strange hydration, because the substance has an unpleasant texture and I didn’t like the feeling of using it.
I do not recommend this product to anyone. That’s why, I want to tell you what is my better alternative: Nezeni Cosmetics’ botox effect eye contour.
My better alternative: Nezeni Cosmetics Eye Contour
This is a cosmetic that does not disappoint me and its effectiveness is immediate. From the first moment you use it, you already know that it is of good quality. The ingredients are natural, it does not contain parabens or any chemicals that could harm you.

Additionally, it barely contains preservatives. You can use it whether you are a man or a woman. It doesn’t matter the type of skin you have either, as it adapts to your needs.
It is a high-end product at an unbeatable price, because you do not pay for the brand, you pay for the quality and the good results. Once you try it you will realize that every euro you have invested in this cosmetic is worth it.
