In Spain, the majority of aloe vera plants are found in Córdoba and the Canary Islands. And its properties can also be found in various creams (to a greater or lesser extent, that’s why it is worth paying attention to this detail).

When skin pores become clogged, sebum cannot escape and pimples appear. The pulp of aloe vera, along with lemon and baking soda, can remove a pimple.

As this plant has antibacterial and antiseptic properties, it can prevent the wounds caused by acne from becoming infected or creating scars and marks.

In this article, you have more information about its potential to eliminate acne.

Astringent abilities

In addition to facing acne once it appears, sabila takes care of eliminating excess oil, and that prevents future acne breakouts and the appearance of new pimples.

Prevents marks from burns or wounds. The same antiseptic property mentioned helps a complexion that has been burned or has a wound to heal quickly and reduces the likelihood of scarring or marking.

Aloe vera can regenerate skin cells, which affect the aging of the epidermis.

Calms pains or skin inflammations

Sabila has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. With these, it can soothe irritated skin.

For example, when it is affected by burns, by a hair removal process (especially affecting people with sensitive skin), by shaving in men or by insect bites. Aloe vera helps to soothe the dermis.

Hydrates

Both the complexion and the hair can be moisturized with this plant.

To the touch it seems to dry out, considering the sticky sensation that characterizes sabila. But it has the capacity to provide hydration in the deep layers of the skin.

Over time, as sabila is used, the dermis becomes more moisturized and healthy.

Softens hardness

Try rubbing aloe vera on your heels if they are cracked and hard due to long walks, from overusing flip-flops in dry climates or from wearing uncomfortable footwear. It should soften those issues.

Hides stretch marks

Stretch marks appear in the dermis when there is a significant weight change, whether it’s an increase or decrease.

If, when they start to appear, the juice is used directly on the area, the risk of those marks becoming very pronounced is reduced, since it hydrates the dermis of that region.

Sabila is currently one of the basic ingredients for a large part of cosmetic products. The juice of the plant can be used directly or creams whose main ingredient is aloe vera.

Nezeni Cosmetics, a Spanish brand that uses completely natural components to develop its creams, has a facial lotion that significantly improves the complexion of the face: the Nezeni Cosmetics moisturizing facial cream with aloe vera.

This is because this plant is an “excellent regenerator of cells damaged by chemical agents (both epidermal and dermal)”.

In addition, it seems that the plant increases the survival of antitumor lymphocytes in chemotherapeutic treatments in cancer cases.

Combats diabetes

While it cannot cure diabetes, no matter how wonderful the plant may be, it can stabilize it.

And it is that it significantly reduces blood glycemia levels, making the insulin hormone that suffers problems have less work.

Improves digestion

For stomach problems such as heartburn, constipation, or diarrhea, sabila is very useful. It can protect the stomach and the digestive system in general.

It is recommended to take it in the form of juice. In addition, it stimulates the production of intestinal bacterial flora, which prevents diarrhea and also constipation.

Also in the digestive system, it can reduce possible inflammations so it is recommended to ingest in case of having an ulcer. Although when it is consumed for this function it must be in moderation.

Purifies the liver

Drinking juice whose main ingredient is aloe vera can help cleanse the liver.

It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach for a few days, at most five. When the liver detoxifies, the abdomen also deflates.

A liver suffers from alcohol consumption and excessive consumption of fats, but it can regenerate.
