Texture

Its oil and water composition makes it a two-phase anti-aging treatment.

The texture, as you can imagine, is oily. Despite this, I consider it light and it does not leave any greasy or sticky film.

Even so, it does not have a high absorption power, so you will have to wait a while for it to dry completely.

Packaging and scent

One of the points I liked most about this cosmetic is its original packaging. It is a bottle where the bottles fit one inside the other. The contents are only mixed when leaving the bottle.

It contains a valve system with a wheel so that you can customize the product yourself.

The small drop is recommended for people with combination or oily skin, while the large drop is for normal, dry, or sensitive skin.

Its fragrance is very subtle. It does not give off a too strong or cloying scent, so in this aspect, it also meets my expectations.

How to apply it

To apply it, just follow these steps:

1. Clean and remove makeup from the skin well. Before using any treatment, we must carry out this step.
2. Once we have left the skin free of impurities, we can apply a soothing toner.
3. Next, pour a little facial serum on the tips of your fingers. You don’t need to use too much. A few small drops will suffice.
4. Place the lotion on the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, and spread it evenly.
5. Don’t forget to also apply it on the neck and décolleté, as both areas are very prone to aging signs.
6. Wait for it to absorb and dry completely before proceeding with the application of moisturizing cream.
7. Avoid using it around the eyes. This area is extremely sensitive and requires specific products.

Who is it recommended for

The brand presents it as a cosmetic suitable for all types of faces. That is, it can be used by both those who suffer from excess sebum and those with dry or sensitive skin problems.

Really, I would recommend it more for normal skin. In combination or oily skin it can be somewhat uncomfortable, as its oil texture takes a bit to absorb.

On the other hand, I do not consider it a serum suitable for sensitive skin, as it contains artificial perfume and other substances that could cause alterations.

My experience with Clarins Double Serum

Regarding my experience with this cosmetic, it has been quite good. Despite this, it has not become my favorite option.

After applying it for several months, I noticed my complexion was more luminous and hydrated. Pores were closed and some small expression lines became less visible.

The main problem I detect is that it takes too long to dry, so I do not consider it a useful serum to apply in the mornings. Especially when you are in a hurry.

In my case, I have chosen to leave it only for the nights.

The aspects that I highlight of this product are the following:

• Deeply moisturizes and nourishes.
• Gives more luminosity.
• Has a pleasant scent.
• Has a novel and hygienic packaging.
• Reduces the visibility of small expression lines.

The weak points that I have detected are:

• Its formula is not 100% natural.
• Contains artificial perfume.
• The list of ingredients is huge.
• Takes a long time to absorb.
• The price is not economical.

After trying this product my sister gave me a serum that she had recently tried and loved: the Anti-Wrinkle from Nezeni.

And I totally agree with her, because after my own experience I have been able to verify that it really is a quality product and above all that it works in improving wrinkles.

After having finished it, I am delighted with the results. It might be because of its natural formula, its low amount of preservatives, or its concentrated actives, but I have noticed my face much firmer and revitalized.

It has very interesting vegan actives, among which it is worth mentioning vegetable collagen and hyaluronic acid.

It also includes an elastin substitute, the yeast extract, along with a stable vitamin C derivative, salicylic acid, to improve spots and prevent pimples, and a set of antioxidants with which we will definitely recover the lost luminosity.

The brand, in addition to improving the formulation of this product, has also improved its packaging, adding on this occasion a dropper with which, easily, we can extract the exact amount we need to cover the face and neck area.

But remember! once opened, do not forget to keep it in the fridge. Without a doubt, it is a serum that you should try as soon as possible.

Other options we have tried are: the low-cost version from Mercadona, the one from Estee Lauder, the one from Caudalie, the Sesderma serum, the one from Vichy or Neoretin.
