The truth is that it offers a large number of creams and treatments at an irresistible price. In addition, some of them provide very good results.

In my case, I have used many facial serums of all qualities and for all budgets. However, until now I had not obtained the desired effects.

Ultra hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid by Deliplus

It is a lotion that promises to keep the skin hydrated and nourished by retaining the water of the epidermis.

It stands out above all for its Hidramax complex which provides natural hydration. In addition, hyaluronic acid helps to restore greater vitality.

Anti-Wrinkle Botox Effect Serum by Deliplus

It is another of the most consumed at Mercadona. It promises to fill, smooth and redensify. That is why its use is intended for users from approximately 35 years old.

Sisbela Regenerating Serum

It is a firming and moisturizing product. Its main function is to combat the signs of aging.

It is also considered a booster that repairs all layers of tissue thanks to the two star compounds of the formula: soluble organic silicon and marine collagen.

Brightness Serum with Vitamin C by Deliplus

This product provides brightness to the face and unifies the tone by lightening pigmented spots.

Vitamin C is one of my favorite ingredients, as it acts as an antioxidant, anti-aging, and provides vitality and energy.

This is the option I have chosen, so it is the one I will analyze in more depth below.

Why have I chosen the serum with vitamin C?

The reasons that have led me to choose this cosmetic are the following:

It promises to give vitality to dull skin by providing greater brightness.
It guarantees to reduce the appearance of spots caused by sun rays.
Vitamin C is a perfect ingredient to combat signs of aging.

Among its 4 facial serums, it seemed to me the most complete and effective version for my case.

Ingredients

It is mainly enriched with vitamin C and illuminating interference pigments.

On the other hand, the pigments used are particles that react to the reflection with light and provide greater vitality and energy.

So far everything seemed correct in its formulation, however, we can detect some drawbacks.

Its list of ingredients is huge, so the proportion of active ingredients is very small.

In addition, it contains many silicones, artificial perfume, and other chemical substances. It was to be expected, since a low-cost product cannot be 100% natural.

Texture

As soon as you pour the lotion, you notice a very light texture, although it is not too liquid either.

The best thing is that it spreads and absorbs quickly, so you won’t have to wait long to proceed with applying other treatments like your usual moisturizer.

Scent and packaging

The scent is very strong and in my case it was cloying.

Honestly, I prefer cosmetics that do not have perfumes, because, in addition to being safer, when I combine the use of several products I find the mix of scents very unpleasant.

Regarding the packaging, it is one of the points that I like the most. It comes in an airless bottle that keeps the ingredients perfectly avoiding air or light.

Also, thanks to its dispenser, it provides the right amount for each application.

How to apply it

Its application is very simple. Just follow these steps:

Clean your skin thoroughly. For this, you can use a micellar water or any cleansing product that suits you.
Put on a facial toner to balance the dermis.
Next, pour a small amount of lotion on the tips of your fingers and spread it over your face, neck, and décolleté.
Extend the product and wait for it to dry completely before applying your usual moisturizer.
Avoid contact with the eye contour, as this area is very sensitive and requires specific products.

My opinion of the Brightness Serum with Vitamin C from Mercadona

In my case, I used this Mercadona facial serum for about two months.

It is true that I perceived some benefits quickly. For example, after each application my skin was softer and brighter.

However, I have also noticed that it lacks some of the effects it promises. It does not effectively combat wrinkles and expression lines.

On the other hand, it has also failed to reduce the visibility of dark spots caused by the sun.

Another drawback I have detected after its use is that it has an instant moisturizing effect, but it does not last over time.

Is it worth buying? It depends on what your purposes are.

I especially recommend it to those users who are looking for a very basic and cheap serum and who do not have sensitivity problems on the face.

If you tend to suffer from alterations, do not even think about using it, since, as we have seen, it contains chemical substances that could cause you more harm than good.

It is true that within the low-cost products it turns out to be a good option, but if you want a more potent and safe cosmetic, this serum is not for you.

Its main features that I highlight are the following:

It provides softness to the complexion.
It leaves the skin more illuminated.
Its texture is very fluid and absorbs quickly.
The packaging is convenient and hygienic.

What are its disadvantages?

It does not manage to maintain the moisture of the dermis.
It does not decrease wrinkles or other signs of age.
It does not reduce the visibility of sunspots either.
Its ingredients are not totally natural.
The concentration of actives is very low.
