Nezeni Cosmetics Micellar Water: My Review

nezeni cosmetics micellar water
Surely you’ve gone out at night and when you get home you’ve said to yourself: “ugh, I feel so lazy about removing my makeup”. In the end, you’ve taken the easy way out and grabbed the pack of wipes. So far so good, you’ve managed to remove the worst of it.

But what happens the next day when you don’t clean off your makeup properly? Let me tell you: you wake up with your eyes looking like a raccoon and your skin is far from looking good. What did you expect? If you don’t take care of your face at night, when the cells regenerate, don’t expect miracles.

If you’re like me and you’re not fully convinced by cleansing milk and toner irritates your skin, try removing your makeup with micellar water. You’ll see how easy it is to use and how good it leaves your face. But don’t just buy any brand. If you’ll take a piece of advice, mine is to try Nezeni Cosmetics Micellar Water.

With just one product, and in one go, you’ll be removing makeup, cleansing your skin, toning it, and moisturizing it. And the best part is that it doesn’t need rinsing. Have you seen how much time and products you save?

Nezeni Cosmetics Micellar Water

I’ve already hinted that Nezeni’s micellar water is one of my favorites. If you’ve never used it, you might think it should have nothing special, that it’s like the rest: a few drops of oil mixed in water that attract dirt and clean the skin and the pores in a couple of passes.

What if I tell you that in addition to oil and water, its formula contains natural actives that improve the appearance of your face while cleansing it? And add that it does not contain alcohol or parabens, so it can be applied on the most sensitive skin? To all this, add the fact that it is a cleanser with very few preservatives, dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic.

The Ingredients

If you take a look at the INCI of this cream, you’ll see that it includes the following ingredients: Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Propanediol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Zingiher Officinale Root Extract, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Parfum, Amyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Geraniol, Linalool.

Not quite clear on what all those actives are for? I’m going to explain the benefits of those listed at the top (the ones with the highest concentration):

  • Aloe Gel: the aloe vera plant is known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, and regenerative properties.
  • Apple: the extract of this fruit contains vitamin C, an antioxidant that also helps increase blood circulation. In passing, it eliminates dead cells, allowing the micellar water to penetrate better into the skin.
  • Ginger Extract: stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that keeps the skin fibers strong and flexible.
  • Oat: oat extract nourishes the skin, leaving it very soft.
  • Glycerin: provides vitamin E, another powerful antioxidant.
  • Salicylic Acid: acting as an exfoliant, it is the best remedy for preventing pimples.

Where to buy Nezeni Micellar Water?

If you want to buy Nezeni’s micellar water, the cheapest you will find it is on their website, where it is priced at 19.90 euros. It is also sold on Amazon. It comes in a transparent 150 ml bottle with a dispenser.

Since you’ll only dispense the amount you need and the micellar water easily drags away dirt, you won’t need to use a large quantity. So you’ll have cleanser for a good while. However, it’s important to know that this product expires 6 months after opening the package.

How do you apply this product?

According to the manufacturer, the ideal is to apply Nezeni’s micellar water in the morning and at night, before serum, moisturizer, and eye contour. You will only need to spray a few drops on a cotton pad and pass it over your face, neck, and décolleté, in circular motions.

For mascaras and waterproof eyeliners, you’ll have to insist a little more, because it is not a product specifically designed for those cosmetics.
