Maderas Compact Powders: My Opinion
The Maderas de Oriente compact powders from the brand Myrurgia, were the first powders for many of us, whether in our adolescence or adulthood.
In my case, I came across them when I was about 16 years old, at that age I began to discover the world of makeup and the wide variety of products we could find on the market, however, I wanted something subtle, but that at the same time would give me a touch of color and cover my dark circles a bit.
I remember my mother took me to a perfumery in my neighborhood and bought me that cosmetic that would be my best ally throughout my adolescence and part of my adult life.
After all this time using these compact powders, I have been able to form a solid opinion on this product, so let’s go step by step.
To start with, its packaging is something that I have always loved, since for me it is simple and at the same time elegant, so it never goes out of style. It is presented to us in a delicate cardboard case with the drawing of an oasis giving that characteristic oriental touch.
Inside we will find a plastic powder case along with a puff for applying the powders, although for those of you who are starting I recommend applying them with a brush since it is easier and we ensure that the product is evenly distributed.
It is true that the powder case, being plastic, is quite delicate, so we should be careful with bumps if we do not want to be left without it.
It should be noted that this product is a makeup that combines two textures, powder and cream with a light and pleasant perfumed touch, that provides a perfect covering finish to disguise small imperfections and at the same time give a natural and velvety effect, ideal for when you are starting to wear makeup and still do not want to use many products.
It can be used alone or over the foundation, but, as I said, if what you are looking for is that subtle touch I recommend using it alone.
The duration of this cosmetic impressed me quite a bit since it tends to last on the skin most of the day, in my case I applied it early in the morning and around two in the afternoon I still had product on my skin.
Something great is that since the powder case is not very big, we can take it anywhere without it taking up much space and thus be able to touch up whenever we want without any problem.
Regarding the range of colors, it is quite wide, we can find both for the fairest skins such as 01 “natural” to the darkest ones like 18 “translucent”.
In my case, as I have always had very fair skin, the numbers I have used the most have been 01 or failing that when I couldn’t find them I used 02 “new rachel” with a finish that’s a bit more rosy, but very subtle.
After all this, I undoubtedly recommend using 100% the Maderas compact powders since they are ideal for using in our day-to-day, as thanks to their components they do not clog our pores as much and do not damage our skin so much.
Also noteworthy is their price, since it is quite affordable for any budget so in quality/price it beats any other.
However, like any cosmetic in order to form your own opinion I recommend using them continuously, but if despite the years they remain on the market it is because the Maderas compact powders have something special that makes them unique.
