Analysis: Liftactiv 10 Supreme Serum from Vichy

The use of a good facial serum is essential to ensure a better appearance for our complexion. However, not all versions deliver the results and benefits they promise. Today we are going to analyze the Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Supreme.
My search for the ideal facial serum continues, as I have not yet found one that I truly love. While some have left me with a somewhat sticky sensation, others have failed to properly hydrate my skin.
Additionally, options with chemical ingredients have even caused me some irritations such as redness and excessive dryness in some areas.

After doing several online research, I found very positive comments about this product offered by Vichy, so I decided to give it a chance and use it for a while.
After several months with it, I am now in a position to tell you about my experience.
Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Supreme Presentation
The brand presents it as a “youth revealing” treatment with calming and softening properties that helps to restore firmness to the complexion, and due to its ultra-light texture, it manages to penetrate into the deepest layers of the dermis.
The brand claims that it helps to combat the 10 most important issues related to aging: expression lines, wrinkles, fatigue, dehydration, marked features, loss of firmness, loss of plumpness, loss of tone, uneven tone, and dullness.
Product Features:
- It has a lifting effect.
- Its price is usually around 40 euros approximately.
- It contains 50 ml of lotion.
- It adapts to any skin type.
The main reason I chose this version of Vichy is that I was looking for a serum that would provide me with hydration for longer and that would prevent the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.
This serum seemed to me the most complete of the brand’s offerings, and the one that would best suit my situation at that time.

Ingredients
The formulation of Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Supreme is quite extensive. At the top of the list, there is a silicone and alcohol, but no active ingredients are seen except for ramnose.
This molecule is described as “anti-aging”, as it acts on the dermis to stimulate the production of collagen and thus provide greater firmness and elasticity. Additionally, it contributes to a thicker skin.
We have to go quite far down the list to find hyaluronic acid, an ingredient that is responsible for maintaining hydration and moisture levels for a longer time. It is widely used in natural cosmetics.
Vitamin E also appears, known as a protective antioxidant that prevents aging.
The alcohol, the high presence of silicones, and the artificial fragrance reduce the product’s safety. Also, the concentration of active ingredients is very low. I am not too convinced by the formula, but I still try it.

Texture, Scent, and Packaging
The texture is similar to that of any serum, that is, very light and almost watery. The main disadvantage I detected is that if you use a little too much, it leaves an uncomfortable sensation.
Moreover, it takes a while to dry, so you will have to wait a few minutes before proceeding to use the moisturizer and other treatments.
The scent is noticeable due to the presence of artificial fragrance. Honestly, I prefer those cosmetics that are unscented, as they are safer, and I don’t like the mix of scents that occurs when we use several products in one session.
The packaging consists of a 50 ml bottle, so it lasts a very long time. Keep in mind that you will only need a few drops with each application.
Its dispenser is a push button which is very hygienic, so in this respect, it has another point in its favor.
Who I recommend it to
The brand presents it as a serum suitable for all skin types. But in reality, after using it for a while, I have discovered that it is for skins that want to prevent the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines, because if you already have these signs of aging, it will not be able to minimize them.
On the other hand, if you tend to suffer from irritations and your skin is extremely sensitive, you should be very cautious with its application. As I mentioned earlier, it contains alcohol and artificial fragrance, which could excessively dry out the complexion and cause other irritations.
For mixed or oily skins, I believe there are other more specific cosmetics that provide better results.

My experience with Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Supreme
I have used this serum for several months to check its effectiveness, applying it as I tell you here. And the result has not been very promising. Yes, the feeling it leaves after applying is very pleasant, leaving the skin very soft and comfortable; but this is due to the amount of silicones it contains.
Despite using it daily, it has not managed to combat the most superficial wrinkles or other signs of aging. In short, it has not provided me with any benefit, not even good hydration, since the hyaluronic acid it contains is in a lesser proportion.
Its main disadvantage is that it is not effective in stopping the signs of aging, however mild they may be. In addition, it is not a completely natural cosmetic. It contains alcohol and artificial fragrance, which can dry out the dermis. And I don’t like that at all.
But I don’t want to leave without recommending a more promising option, one with which I have achieved results: Nezeni Cosmetics’ Antiage Serum.
A Better Alternative
The Nezeni Antiage Serum is an option that I tried after Vichy’s, and its results are incomparable.
While with Vichy I did not notice any visible benefit, something expected after seeing their list of ingredients; with Nezeni I noticed a significant improvement within a few days of use.
This anti-aging benefit serum manages to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to its natural composition and its clinically proven natural tensing actives.
The small lines I had on my forehead and around my mouth are almost unnoticeable now, and the more marked wrinkles seem to have shrunk a bit. I notice the complexion is brighter, more rejuvenated, and shinier. So I couldn’t be happier!
Conclusion
Although it is a reputable brand, this Vichy serum has not managed to impress me. In my case, I prefer to opt for more natural and safer cosmetics, as some chemical ingredients have caused me redness and irritations.
Do not expect to notice significant changes in wrinkles or expression lines, so I do not recommend it if you want a younger complexion.
Instead, I have found an option that can help you in this regard. Nezeni’s Antiage version is the best I have tried so far, and if you are consistent in its use, it will not disappoint.
After trying the Mercadona option, the one from Clarins, Estee Lauder brand, or Caudalie, I am increasingly convinced that my skin loves Nezeni’s version.
